- ViKids Art Contest submission period is from 20th July until 14th Aug 2020.
- VIKids Art Contest voting by shoppers period is from 24th Aug -13th Sep 2020.
- VIKids Art Contest is open to VIKids members aged between seven (7) and twelve (12) years old (according to year of birth).
- Each participating child is only allowed to submit one (1) artwork for the competition, failing to do so will be disqualified.
- Theme for the VIKids Art Contest is “to commemorate the celebration of 63rd Merdeka in Malaysia”.
- Artwork must be drawn by child with crayon and/or colour pencil onto artblock (size 275mm x 375 mm) in landscape orientation. Each artwork are required to be labeled with child’s name and age at the back of the artblock.
- Artwork must be drawn by child from home and submitted to Concierge Counter at Alamanda Shopping Centre by 10.00pm, on 14th August 2020. Any artwork received later than the said date will be disqualified.
- Only 20 finalists per category will be displayed at Alamanda Shopping Centre for votes by shoppers. The two (2) categories for contest are Category 1 for 7-9 years old and Category 2 for 10 – 12 years old.
- For every redemption of Merdeka 2020 T-shirt, shopper may vote for the VIKids ArtContest whereby Alamanda Shopping Centre Management will contribute RM10 towards the Tribute Fund to purchase some tea time snacks for staff of government hospital.
- Alamanda Shopping Centre Management will update shoppers’ votes by 10am daily onto a TV placed nearby the display of the artwork and onto our FB & website.
- Alamanda Shopping Centre Management will finalise votes by 15 Sept 2020 and contact the parent (s) of all the finalists to inform them of their prizes and results of the votes from shoppers.
- Alamanda Shopping Centre Management will invite the parent(s) of the forty (40) finalists to attend the prize giving ceremony at Alamanda Shopping Centre on 13 Sept 2020 as per the following schedule:
- Category 1 ( 7 – 9 years old) Consolation Prizes (17 prizes) at 11 am
- Category 2 (10 – 12 years old ) Consolation Prizes (17 prizes) at 12 pm
- Category 1 and 2 : First, Second & Third Prizes ( 6 prizes) at 1 pm

- All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entertained.
- By participating in the VIKids Art Contest, parent(s) is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions stated herein.
- By participating in this campaign, it is deemed that the participant has consented:
- to Alamanda Shopping Centre Management to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in this campaign;
- to Alamanda Shopping Centre Management to disclose their personal information such as their names, addresses and telephone numbers and shall be used only in relation to and for purposes of this campaign;
- that their photos or video clips to be used for current or future advertising and/or publicity in relation to this campaign without any claim for payment nor compensation.
- Alamanda Shopping Centre Management reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time.
